EC WI | Coming from an area that has a naturally high Mg BS, like 25-30,
I would want take anything below 20. I would rather apply some than to fight these tight easily compacted soils we have. Gypsum is a long term play, lots of lime, anything to increase Ca. Ideally 15% as Mg and K fight for the same colloidal attachment sites. And absolutely gypsum will flush K as it flushes Mg. Seen it a lot.
