We have had a Miele for 15.5 years now. It was around $2200 new but well worth it. It literally runs everyday, about 350 days a year. Has never broken down. My next dishwasher will be a Miele. The appliance store salesperson suggested it as the most reliable, expensive but reliable and super super quiet. Well worth the extra dollars.
