| My son got hit by one a slow speed. I was pretty impressed. He had a load of rebar on a brand new aluminum Wilson stepdeck.
He still delivered the load on that trailer. It got kind of dicey with the law and insurance for a bit.
I was surprised that he came out pretty good. His insurance paid to repair his trailer and the rail road stood their own. Not really an damage as the engine was a town engine and probably had an accident pretty often.
We had witness stating they had not blown the whistle at the crossing, and that crossing required a spotter.
The City even dropped the ticket after a few phone calls. | |
