Southern Missouri | Exactly what tazzer blue says , too late if already a stump , way way easier to dig around bottom of tree , lift excavator boom up about 15 ft and push with tracks and hydraulic and topple tree, cut off log you want and roll it away and push stump that’s just laying on the ground into a hole with branches off tree scraped off with excavator and throw in epa approved burn tires an light and stir occasionally, actually lot of guys above saying same thing
