| The idea of just rolling over isn’t for me. Of course I realize that posting on agtalk has near zero impact on world events, but I like elons “we are the media” idea. And I don’t think it hurts, in fact I’d say it’s damn near as American as it gets, to voice opposition to those in the ruling class. I dare say it’s civic duty, and while duty can be heavier than a mountain, s*** posting on a social media platform is a fairly easy way to do this.
And let me add that I do respect Elon. He’s the smartest guy in the room. And he’s a shrewd businessman. But if we just roll over and take it, Elon is going to make USA a better place—for Elon. I think this because I’ve dealt with shrewd businessmen before and no matter your relationship with them, or how things are going, they are ultimately in it for themselves. That’s how you get to be a rich a shrewd businessman….. By looking out for yourself and being cut throat.
