I'm sure it happens but don't see how it happens to a farmer, esp with internet nowadays.
Just too many ways to tell.

Profile alone speaks volumes if they're on FB.
I can see how farmers get took on the description or quality but to just send money and it doesn't even exist is another matter.
Farmers are no better than the general public in the getting taken case. With the recent commutation of Hunter Hanson being in the news there’s the perfect example of farmers being scammed. Or the cattle company, can’t recall the name, taking in ranchers in an industry they should the fundamentals of.
Thinking you can’t be scammed is the opening to be scammed. A person’s pride and greed gets in the way of your judgement. |
