| Sometimes it is just not worth the time to discuss it.
I had a cashier not put a discount on an item the other day. It was an honest mistake as we were visiting while she checked me out.
She caught it and wanted to redo the sale but the computer wouldn't let her. So she called he supervisor. After a few tries the supervisor calls the manager. Manager calls the regional guy, he calls tech support.
Probably 30 minutes later every one is apologizing profusely. Still working on it.
I had a guy with me that was on the clock. I am sure his pay alone was more than the extra cost.
The worst part is when she had to get the manager I told her not to worry and I was happy to pay the extra and go on.
At that point we couldn't even do that if they wanted to do to the electronic cash register.
