Very doubtful, I just had a c15 turned from 475/1750 to 525/1850, I honestly haven't noticed much difference aside from a couple hills. But, I'm typically used to driving 700hp so it feels doggy either way lol,
My friend I used to work for had a fleet of 379/ 389
All about 700 horse . A C-15 at 700 and an 18 speed is a fun truck to drive .
100 mph at 86,000 gross was not a problem at all .
I did not do it many times , but a few I could not help myself .
His would roll coal until you shifted , they had so much power the limit on taking off was for the Cat to drop rpm’s to float into next gear . |
