Beets are the same as any other crop for hauling. And you’re talking two states as well, MN and ND.

1. Don’t even think you need a class A license to drive truck for a farmer.

2. Legal weight like anything else, can get 10% overweight permit. In MN the patrol will/can go in after harvest to get scale tickets and send the fines out then.

3. County/township/farmer pockets. Lots of guys will have blades especially along the highway to scrape mud off the roads if conditions are bad. They will also sign the road to warn drivers.

4. I’ve seen and heard about tanks actually being dipped more in the last ~18 months than the last 18 years. They have all been at rest stops/weigh stations if I remember correctly.

Edit: did you ask the Karen’s how they are paying road tax on their EV vehicles?
