SW OH | That's my understanding as well. A guy I used to work with years ago was shopping for a new lawn mower. He found an online ad for some zero turn at Home Depot for like $599, that was supposed to be $5999. So he bought 2 knowing he could sell 1 for way more and end up with a free mower. He paid with a credit card over the internet. They tried to back out of the sale. He ended up hiring a lawyer. He won and sold the second mower for enough to pay for both mowers, the lawyer, and had a little left over.
About 6 months ago my wife bought 4 crock pots for 59 cents apiece. They were marked wrong and when she showed the clerk they had no problem honoring the price.
