You can't have 1 entrance in a building because of fire. Would you want to have 1 locked door that some secretary has to "buzz" you out if there is a fire? It would work if you had some fire exits that wouldn't open from the outside and even that has flaws because somebody will prop the door open with a stick so they can stand outside and smoke without being locked out.
