West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Do they still make Lincoln Town Cars? "Baby" has 362,682 miles as pictured.
My longtime 86-year-old absentee landlord I had never met until last week gave me this 1995 Lincoln Town Car last week. My wife and made the over 1400-mile trip from where he lives in Wilmington, NC to 50 miles West of Minneapolis, MN last weekend with absolutely no issues.
The car is all original except for brakes and tires...sure the car looks rough and the drivers and rear passenger window don't roll down, but the radio and heater work great, and we were passing Tesla's on the interstate like they were low on battery charge while averaging 71 MPH and 22.1 MPG for the entire trip. "Baby" is honestly the best riding vehicle I have ever owned.
I took a picture of "Baby" parked in my 86 absentee landlord's MN field and text the picture to him. He hasn't set foot on the field since the mid 70s...he literally kissed the hood of "Baby" and said goodbye to the car when we were backing out of his driveway.
