We figure total machinery expense at close $150/acre. If you buy a new tractor or anything for equipment is has to be spread out over acres over time and that usually cannot be a measly $10/acre or so and there are several major pieces depreciating all the time. This is a mathematical problem people try to not see reality, especially when bidding the big cash rent.
