Same farm as t-boss SC IA | OMG….were you in our kitchen this afternoon while the tech was out working on our Bosch??!! The drain pump went out of my 7 yr old machine & by the time we paid the price to have him come out today & the price of the new part which he had no idea how long it would take to get….I decided I wanted a new one. All the parts are the same age & he did look up my control board & said they didn’t make it any longer. That made my decision easier but I could see the look in the farmer man’s face sitting next to me thinking it can be fixed…..I can fix anything…I don’t throw things away! So before he could even say anything…I said we will get a new machine! Problem is with the holidays I have no clue when we will get one or it installed. Hopefully they will get it on a truck & installed on Monday! I decided to go with a different brand this time. Availability & quickness to install not to mention some was the cost as well….I am hoping this next one will outlive me!! I may only have 7 years left too!! By the way….I did call one place about which Bosch to get…the 300 or the 800. He said that for the price difference between the 2 of them…he would just get the 300. They are basically the same except for the noise level on the 300 isn’t quite as good as the 800. They didn’t have either in stock & it would be the middle of January before it could be installed. No thanks! |
