Think of the advances in engine technology of the first cars compared to todays cars. I would not expect EV to advance that much but I do expect the EV's manufactured ten years from now are much advanced from today and I would expect a lot of that advancement would come from battery development.

If they get the long life captured, then they can work on the weight to amount of storage problem. And finally cost problem. I hope they get there to the point EV's can be manufactured for no more cost than a conventional ICE vehicle. That would be cool.

Then simply give people the choice in the marketplace. They will choose what they like.


The cynical skeptic in me wonders how fast we go from great advancements in batter or electric motor technology to retarding the growth or planned obsolescence of those same technologies.
