N.W. Ohio | I totally get what you’re saying 1891. But,I’ll stand by my statement that on average people in the US work less hours/days for their food than anywhere else in the world. I don’t say this is the farmers doing….. it just is what it is. Of course the Dr will spend less time working to pay for his food than a teacher. And I’d imagine it’s that way around the world as far as the wealthier and non wealthy. But I think the person who originally posted that chart was trying to convey that in the US we really don’t have any reason to complain about the price of food. People will frivolously spend money on many non essential items and not complain one bit. But when it comes to an essential to live item they throw a hissy fit. | |
