Eastern Washington | You mention short days, so needing IFR. Well, you can fly at night with VFR. I’d suggest getting IFR rated, but it is not necessary. I took IFR ground school, but never went and got the rating. I got other ratings, like complex, and I think it was higher HP, but don’t remember right off.
I got my license a long time ago, but haven’t flown as PIC since my kids were born. | |
