It’s shown as a percentage of income That’s the fairest way to compare it to other countries.
In the US we on average work 24 days to buy our food for the year. In France it’s 50 days. Nigeria is 207 days. This is not taking into account vacation days. So the US is probably even better off than what I calculated.
