| If you read this site long, you would know the truth of it. Most farmers are against this welfare and absent the true disasters (hurricanes), most farmers don't need it apart from the poor managers.
Now if you're a farmer that owns a lot of land, then this is truly a big windfall. However, if you rent 75% of your land or more, 60% of this money will eventually end up in your landlords pockets and the other 60% will end up going to input suppliers. (the percentages not adding to 100% is intentional because this will cost us more than we get in the long run.) | |
