| For all but an extremely few practical purposes is quite a stretch. It would take a lot of creative effort to pass it off as practical. But flying is amazing and reason enough on its own merits if you are in a financial position to do it.
As far as an aircraft that can safely handle icing conditions that is almost impossible to achieve. On some of the high end planes there are some devices that can buy you some time to escape icing conditions. But if you find yourself in those conditions you will have to do something to get back out of that situation. Generally it will mean an immediate 180 to get back out but sometimes it can be achieved by climbing or descending to get into different atmospheric conditions. | |
