I do think sometime in my life time whole house batteries will be a thing. I don’t think they will be small and energy dense. More like a fridge size battery made of cheap materials that sits next to the trash can but can power the house for a day. Battery will get charged in times of excess power and depleted when peak power is needed. This will help stabilize the power grid.


Or we just get rid of the fairy dust, save the world crap of unreliable wind and solar, and go back to the VERY stable coal and nat gas fired grid of 15 years ago.......
