I no longer believe battery news. Seems like they are always releasing info about a new battery brake threw but nothing ever materializes.

Just a way to get some free press and a cash infusion.

Battery out of plastic, batteries out of rust, salt water batteries….

I do think sometime in my life time whole house batteries will be a thing. I don’t think they will be small and energy dense. More like a fridge size battery made of cheap materials that sits next to the trash can but can power the house for a day. Battery will get charged in times of excess power and depleted when peak power is needed. This will help stabilize the power grid.
