The growth and feed conversion will really depend on genetics. Commercial genetics are around a 3:1 conversion I think, and heritage breeds will run 4:1 or more. For a ballpark you could figure 875lb of feed from 50lb to 300lb on a 3.5 conversion. Gaining 1.5lb/day they will finish in a short 170 days. This time of year you could probably get by with grinding a month’s worth of feed at a time, but grinding a week or two’s worth would be better for intake.
