| Don’t know exactly where these tracts were located, but there is an area NE of Charles city and NW of the airport that leaves plenty to be desired. Not much eye appeal when driving by. I am surprised though on the CSR’s. Much higher than I would have guessed, and I’m also surmising these tracts were in the area I described. Been quite some time since I’ve seen a sub $100 CSR point sale. But the bloom is definitely fading on the rose. The latest issue of Wallaces Farmer had reported sales from around the state. While I didn’t take the time to figure the actual sale price on average of all these representative farms,on a tillable, per CSR point basis, it had to be right around the $150 mark. A year ago, this was on the plus side of $200.
