Iowa | How bout making them pay for Americans uninsured motorist portion of their vehicle insurance? God only knows how many Americans have been out the value of their vehicle over the years because of this - my dad got run off the interstate by one - fake insurance, guy was drunk- bailed out and gone before they found out insurance was fake.
Yes there should be some compromise- if your parent’s brought you over - I get that, legal status but no voting rights. But if you crossed over of your own will there should be some penalty that hurts enough that they either leave, or understand there are consequence's for breaking the law 10k maybe 20? If you had more than traffic violations you’re gone. Employers should be forced to pay a fine - give them 6 months to get their house in order, then 25k/ employee - most employers know what they’re doing, and have played the system for their own benefit for years.
I’m involved with our local government- the cost that they bring on our rural county is significant - everything from children’s services, public health, to schools, to policing - they require these services and a higher rate/capita than native born, and given we collect funds from property tax, they are not directly contributing to that pot - one could argue that with their communal usually provided by employer they are not contributing at all. | |
