Govt’s will always look for ways to increase revenue and call it whatever they want except a tax. Here in the US my wife’s hybrid vehicle pays $50 more come license renewal each year. A plug-in-hybrid pays even more and a fully electric pays the most. They want us to save the planet but penalize us every step of the way.
