Manola,Ab, Ca | My brother was able to locate the recipe book. It appears that when the recipe was copied into the book,two maybe three recipes got combined together. It’s been probably 45 years since I remember it being made but I don’t remember much if any sugar being used. I do remember that control of the fire was extremely important, especially as cooking progressed and it was important to keep it stirred. The family pot had a setup with a “L” shaped wooden paddle. There’s no mention of spices but I think that there were some added.
