I just traded a 94 300 fourtrax for a 520 foreman Rubicon deluxe. My new one has the dct transmission which is auto shift. I been very happy with it. It depends on what you are doing but I definitely make use of the larger quad around my place and I need the extra towing capacity since we unroll our hay in winter.
