The company I work for (and most others) has been leasing tanks for not nearly enough as long as I've worked for them. I'm not sure today (since I'm seasonal and semi-retired I miss out on some changes) but for years it was $36 / year and $.02 / gallon. Company took care of maintenance, cost of leaks, regulators, etc. Figuring a 500 gallon tank, purged, checked out, regulators, etc probably is over $3,000 by the time it's set on the customer's property that $36 is way too cheap. |
