is at what point did WalMart become the devil?
When they resort to rule bending to get a leg up on the competition. supposedly our local wal-mart they talked the locals into not charging property tax, and threaten to leave whenever its discussed.
When it was first built, there were 4 other grocery stores in town, now only wal-mart remains. I drive 20 extra miles to go grocery shopping at a Kroger store (Dillons) , or 50 miles to a safeway. Id have to drive further to go to an "independent" |
