| I personally don’t buy all the amsoil hype. But if it works for you that’s fine. OEM or fleetguard for my personal preference. Donaldson isn’t readily available locally for me like fleetguard is.
One must watch the specs on all filters. Just because an aftermarket “will fit” doesn’t mean it has the same micron rating or filtering capability. I ran into this recently with a New Holland Hyd filter. The fleetguard the dealer was trying to sell me was HF6555. He said that’s what he sells everybody. I looked up the new holland number on the fleetguard cross reference. It crosses to an HF 6553 which is a smaller micron rating. The New Holland OEM filter ended up being cheaper than the fleetguard.
