NNW Nebraska | One thing I don't think you covered: every time I have delivered to a elevator, they seem to find something to doc for.
About impossible for me to find trucks during harvest. Truckers haul cheaper off season.
Your basis far out seems better than mine.
My basis, picked up at my place is often $1.00 under the board price. Truckers charge more if picking up out of the field. Most of my corn gets hauled nearly 3 hours. The extra charge adds up fast.
Not uncommon to get $1.00 over the board to do delivery June, July, or later. I contract some if not most of it, far before delivery date. | |
