WCIN | Good friend has a place on Bokeelia (tip of Pine island). They just got all of their appliances replaced and kitchen cabinets. The old appliances are still in the yard waiting for the county to pick up all the trash. Now all this trash will end up being carried away in the storm surge.
We go to Don Pedro island and the same thing will happen there. Most places on this island is on 16 ft stilts as building code requires. But most of the stairs to get up there were torn off during Helene.
