Bloomfield MO | Will it crank over? Brass? Maybe copper from the main bearings. If it wasn’t making much knocking, I’d lean towards a spun main bearing. Worst case scenario is ruined crank and in that case, it’s virtually a worthless core. If it was making some racket, then possibly a rod bearing or rod, itself. I doubt your turbo had anything to do with it? I’m not sure if those were bad to crack a liner but that can make the whole shooting match melt down quick. | |
