East Central Nebraska | Not sure what to call it, but I need to replace the whole sieve box. 1995 R 62. Several years ago, the pan on the bottom of the sieves was cracked right below the back door hinge and beyond repair. I drilled out the rivets and made one fit out of a junked N5. The whole return pan, hinge, and door. Long story, but that didn't last very long and had a junk out n6. Figured out what I needed to do to make better and made that one work. Fast forward about 4 years and it is junk again. The N6 was kind of rough when I put it in there and didn't think it would last that long to be honest and slightly different, but made work. Any rate, neighbor has a parted out 2600 white that is the same or least pretty sure it is the same. Need to get eyes on it. When I changed these before, I did it in the combine and it was a project. How does that whole assemble come out. I'm talking the whole sieve and chaffer assembly. I know how to pull the sieves themselves, but I not sure on the rest of it. Mainly I need the bottom pan and door, but don't want to go thru putting just that in again. I'm thinking unhook the shaker arms and drives. the sensors. I don't remember from a few years ago, but thinking I could not get out that assembly and decided to replace it in the machine. I have 2 other combines to finish corn with, but this is my nicest one and want to get fixed up this winter. Just sitting here thinking about it and see if someone had a good answer other than junk it. Has about 3500 sep hours on it and a rebuilt motor. Rest of combine in good shape. I also replaced all the shaker bushing when I replace that assembly last time and will again. That was probably why originally it was all cracked up several years ago. Thanks Greg
