N FLA | I'd like to put peas in this bin. And not use the vertical auger to unload. I'd like to load trucks with the grain vac. I've tried to run corn through this little hole before and use a small diameter house and it just didn't work.
I think I would like to put in a 9"x9" sliding grain gate. Then let the peas flow out the door into a tub, and vacuum them from there. Am I looking at this in the simplest way? It will be easy to remove the step and they drop to the tub.
When there's no flow left we can vacuum from inside the bin.
I don't see any grain bin door panels for sale that are built this way. What is my best move.
My coworker wanted to pull out the augers and the motors and vacuum in the horizontal tube. Or we could use the horizontal auger to fill the tub. But I'm not a big fan of taking the auger system apart for this job
