The test weight brings out the ire in people.
Tell me what I'm missing.
Bin is level full of actual 56 pound corn.
Bin is level full of actual 60 pound beans.
Should they not hold the same amount of bushels.
Obviously, if the corn weighs 60 lbs (often does) and the beans weigh 58 lbs (often do)
there will be more bushels of corn.
Or am I missing something?
If the bin is level full, it will be the same number of actual bushels regardless of what is in it. The amount of weight in the bin will change based on test weight (density), but the volume won't change. |
