Full bins at harvest in a bear market is exactly the time to do it. Bear markets normally mean big carries and good basis opportunities. Now hopefully those bushels were hedged. If not hedged, the carry has to be sold on market strength between now and the first of the year. But these are the years that bins really make money. Not the last 3 years.
