Southern Missouri
I’m at the north end of the delta area, I’ve put it on here lots of times, you can stand on top my grain system and do a 360 degree turn , every sq ft of farm land you’d be looking across ( it’s all farmland ,no livestock ) is irrigated , notice I said every square foot , try that with a pivot , and you won’t see one single pivot , not one , I’m 67 and when I was a kid there were a few around but eventually every acre around here got precision leveled and furrow irrigated and pivots all hauled off, We farm every acre on tall beds , helps with keeping the crop up out of water/wetter cooler soil in the spring time on land that’s precision leveled to one tenth of a foot fall per every 100 ft , we’re pretty flat in the delta and cotton hates wet feet , lots of high yielding beautiful white fields of cotton being harvested here right now
