Tennessee | The left feederhouse cylinder was pouring oil out the seal this evening. After we took the head off, I added oil to the reservoir and raised the throat. Now it won't go back down. The switch works fine, when I press down, it shows on the a post. The potentiometer is fine, I disconnected the arm and my brother raised it up and down while I watched the display in the cab. I cracked the hoses on the cylinders, thinking it would drop, but it didn't. They were jic fittings, when I hit the raise switch with the fittings loose, oil shoots out. Any ideas? In the valve block behind the door next to the cab door, which valve controls the lower? I'm thinking I either have an internal problem with the cylinder or a valve stuck. Everything was working fine with the head on. | |
