| This was my first year grazing an alfalfa & orchard grass mix. The summer flew by, and now it’s looking like my first light frost is in the forecast.
If the cows have been grazing the same thing all summer are they safe on this pasture through a frost or do they need to be pulled off? Would really like to leave them on a little longer (lots of grass) but will haul them out if I need to, in order to avoid bloat or other issues from frost & alfalfa.
