But you would be driving an old Buick or a crackerbox with barely enough power to get out of its own way. If the fun of driving appeals to you, then factor in road tripping in a 60s era "Muscle Car". 15 MPG, burning premium gas. Poor ride and handling in a car with marginal AC, if any. And still my grocery getter SUV will leave the V8 looking at my taillights.
Naw I like the speed of a Model T and the power of a 7.3 IDI, suits me very nicely thank you. I get to drive on a frequent basis with enough begining drivers to know they can not handle much above the old Buick or crackerbox that you mention.
