Currently, Tesla has an incentive for new buyers, if they use a code from a Tesla owner, they get an additional $1,000 of the purchase price and the party who gave them the code gets $500 to use with Tesla. That can be used for Supercharging or any other thing Tesla sells. Last winter, a guy who posts on NAT got a code from me and I used it to pay for a bunch of Supercharging.
