It's not on anybody's radar, but ridge till will be the closest to accomplishing what you're asking. The ridges have structure and won't settle out/wash out like strip till. The planted ridges which are cleared off will promote early season crop growth and drainage and there is the opportunity to reduce herbicide through cultivation.
