| Last year we were right on the parting line between spectacular and disaster. North of us on up into Minnesota just could not buy a rain. Friend by St Ansgar told me it was worst crop he raised in 50 years, and he has some mighty fine dirt. The middle third of Iowa must really be something special, cuz they looked even better all year. Didn’t get dinged with the early excessive rains. Otherwise have to say we’ve been blessed the last 6 years in a row with bountiful yields. | |
