There was a large field fire nearby today started by a combine. Approximately 20 of us with various tillage tools got it contained but not before destroying the better part of 2 sections. Fortunately the only property losses were standing corn and beans but the question everyone has is who is responsible? Will hail insurance cover or does it go against the responsible parties liability insurance?
The combine owner. I have personal experience in this.
"Better part of two sections". So over 640 acres were destroyed? That's a big fire. |
