Wolcottville,Indiana | 20 years ago when I was 59 took out LTC there was only 2 company that were good one Met Life and other GE we got a 10 year pay unlimited benefits 140 $ day pay for Nursing home assisted living respite care and in home care, this goes up 5% a year , Return to premium if ins. is not used. premium is tax right off on some states. not sure what the per day is but at 5% its some where between 200 to 300 a day , cost back then was 6 grand and paid up for life.
found it after 20 years with 5% compound inflation rider is 353$ per day care up from the 140 that started when policy was new.
