Fortunately, around here we have a pretty long harvest season and we're starting early so we won't need to push hard. Plus, we planted for over a month and half the corn is still pretty wet. Kind of looks like if we pace ourselves it will just be drying down ahead of us.
Talked to a fairly large farmer after church today. I know they used to run hard. They now take Sundays off to give everyone a break. He said life is just too short to work 7 days a week. |
