NW Washington | A rock chip repair is not as good as a new windshield, but it might prevent the chip from getting larger and eventually requiring a new windshield. Cold, freezing weather can cause a small chip or crack to spread if it is not sealed over. I can't help on who to fix the chip, but any good glass shop should be able to do the job.
My insurance will pay the whole bill for chip repairs and tell you where to get it fixed. | |
