Faunsdale, AL | Don’t know how much small hive beetle pressure there is in your area, but the term “slime out” is pretty descriptive of what is left when they take over a hive.
The other big pest is wax moths. Unlike the small hive beetles that came into the country around 25 years ago, wax moths have been around forever and they soon mess up the combs and even damage wood frames and boxes. | |
